Ski Area's operating year was shortened by two weeks this season, Meanwhile June and Gull Lakes are ice-free and ready for anglers on April 25. After December's late snowfall which necessitated the delay of June Mountain's Scheduled opening date, the closing date has now been moved up one week, to Easter Sunday for budget purposes, leaving the June Mountain season two weeks short of its original schedule. Meanwhile the summer industry of June Lake, the Trout Season, is looming just a few weeks away. Although adequate snow at the ski area has remained, there is also open water on the area lakes. We'll be welcoming our regular summer season residents and guests.
