June Lake once again offered "June Bucks" in conjunction with Troutstock Eastern Sierra, held on Labor Day weekend in 2007.
Catch the first tagged fish out of June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake or Grant Lake around the June Lake Loop and win $250 in “June Bucks!”
500 tagged trout, from Tim Alpers' famous hatchery, were distributed and planted in" each of the area's lakes. Catching a tagged trout guaranteed winner of at least $200 prize value. Catch more than one tagged fish, and you are in the running for the "Most tagged fish" prize!" Each tagged trout winner will be entered a drawing, by division, for bigger prizes, up to one million dollars.

TROUTSTOCK EASTERN SIERRA 2007 PRIZES – MANY WAYS TO WIN!
Mammoth Lakes, CA – There are many ways to win at Troutstock Eastern Sierra this Labor Day Weekend!
1. Catch a tagged fish! A total of 500 tagged fish will be planted proportionately in each featured lake. Anyone catching a tagged trout will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win a Milliond Dollars, a Ford F350 pick-up truck, a VIP Stealth 1880 boat with a 90 hp Honda outboard motor provided by Lakeside Boat Service in Santa Clarita, or a luxury fishing vacation package to Mammoth Lakes and $500. In addition, this person also takes home the prize package associated with his/her fish. Also in the pool for those who catch tagged fish is $1,000 in cash prizes in Men’s, Women’s, and Kids’ divisions. You may also catch a tagged fish that is sponsored with a specific prize - (the prize list with corresponding tag numbers can be found at any registration or check-in location or on-line at www.troutstock.com), catch the most tagged fish and win $2000, catch the first tagged fish out of June, Gull, Silver or Grant Lakes around the June Lake Loop and win $250 in “June Bucks”, and if you catch a tagged fish, at the very least, you will go home with a prize package valued at $200 or more. 2. Simply register for the event and be automatically entered to win Angler Number Prizes! All registered anglers will be entered into a random drawing for the following weekend vacation prize packages generously donated by the communities participating in Troutstock.
