Chamber Updates and Survey

Hello, Chamber Members,  we hope your summer is going well.

With the month of July passing quickly, it is time to begin planning for our 2019 program year at the Chamber.

In looking back, we have held another successful Winter Carnival in March.  We continued to maintain the Street Banner program downtown in our Village   Last year we had repainted the Northbound  Gateway Monument Sign on Highway 395, south of the Junction, and this summer we will repaint the Southbound Sign near Cain Ranch.  We have renewed the advertising campaigns which promote our community in both the Mono and Inyo County Visitor Guide magazines, as well as the promotional contract with InfoBoard including 1/2 page in their statewide visitor guide, the backlit display at Tioga Mart, web banners and the touchscreen program at Mammoth Visitor Center.  Our sponsorship contribution to the June Lake Triathlon results in our Chamber Logo displayed upon the participant bags which are distributed to each competitor to take home.   We maintain our June Lake Chamber of Commerce Website as well as the June Lake Loop Facebook Page and the newly created June Lake Loop Group also on Facebook.  We also have responded to and fulfilled a substantial number of requests for information from visitors and potential visitors to the Loop.

At our General Membership Meeting and Mixer whch was held in June, we were able to recruit several new members to the Chamber, and we are looking forward to thier contributions of some new energy and fresh ideas.
