At the last June Lake Chamber of Commerce meeting, there was some more discussion about the importance of fish stocking, it's impact on our local economy and making sure that local businesses were able to voice their concerns as input into the Mono County budget process. While some folks have spoken in previous meetings, this topic will again be discussed at the next Board of Supervisors Meeting on 10/2.
The next Board of Supervisors Meeting will be at the Mono County Courthouse in Bridgeport on Tuesday, 10/2 at 9:00am.
If you are unable to attend, but wish to provide comments to the board then you can simply e-mail Scheereen Dedman at sdedman@mono.ca.gov. Scheereen can ensure that your comments will be formally added to the agenda packet for the meeting. Alternatively, you can always e-mail Bob Gardner, our district supervisor, at bgardner@mono.ca.gov.
I know lots of folks are passionate about this issue -- this is an opportunity to be heard.
