5. Member Reports (other than agenda items)
Jamie- Pizzeria is BUSY, folks are being compliant. One in a while, not so much. Public bathrooms, additional bathrooms would be helpful
Amanda- Little Loopers is open.
Ralph- Double Eagle is busy, Edison is cutting trees along power lines. Working on outdoor dining.
John- Both businesses are open. One is ultra busy and one is doing ok. No responses to hiring opportunities.
Connie- Very Very Very busy. Completely fun until the second week of August.
Bob Gardner- 6 hour meeting on Tuesday 7/14/20, no notice from the governor from new “laws” regarding the spread of covid. 52 cases, 10-12 in the last 10 days. Visitors and restaurants. Families have left and brought it back. Many cases link back to memorial day and the first week of June. Folks need to continue to wear masks. Can we get printed mono county masks signs.
Abi- Nada
Janet- Keep on keeping on. Preparing for the JLJM cancelation for 2020. But working on the virtual JLJM. Emails through JuneLakeLoop.org, questions are a little over the top.
Emily- More county posters would be great.

6.  Committee Reports:
Marketing -  Expecting to get the final logo 7/156/20. Working on how to go out socially with the logo, work was  pro bono. Still working on the map, but has ads on said map to pay for the map. On hold because contacting folks right now is hard on us and the local business. Envision on what the new website will look like but also on hold.
Membership - no new report
Events
Leaves in the Loop - Need to start planning, appoint committee members. Considering a meet with Amanda suggested- Trying to reinvent the event. Could still have hikes. Create online forum with the art contests. Looking for additional help, maybe Sarah at the brewery. Fall themed food. Abi volunteered. Good to work together to move forward. Janet would likely not be .
Other - Next May is the net scheduled event, “Roll out the Barrells”

7. Old Business:
COVID-19 Update - Mono County Emergency Operations Committee (EOC) - Ralph Stats 52 positive no hospitalizations. Lots of calls about the new regulations:
Gov shut down museums, bars, movie theaters, clubs, indoor dining. Google gov newsome 7/13/20. Visitors centers are not open. They have had “not so good” confintations. If they become overwhelming, you can call 911 and local officials will respond. Hopeful that businesses are still adhering to the guidelines they sign up for. When requesting to reopen in late stage two. Folks that need help with the stress and anxiety, there are county resources. PPE update from Amdana- Chris (EOD) is delivering supplies, about 1.5 months ago she had a large delivery. She can deliver or folks can pick it up. There are still plenty of masks but working on more gloves and hand sanitizer. Maybe go out with an email requiring additional supplies, get your order in. Ralph mentioned that with the new “order” so many folks are calling asking if we’re open. Trying to get the word out that we are open so folks aren’t asking so many questions when they get a hold of a front desk agent.  We can get the fish stocking schedule thought Jeff Simpson
COVID Death Stats: 0-17 0% 18-34 .07% (3rd of the “spreaders”), 18-69 .8%, over 80 25% death rate. RESEARCH!
Reopening businesses activities/support- Mono basin visitor center is supposed to re-open in August.
New Board Member Update- New volunteers are not coming through. We have communicated through our current avenues. We’re not going to actively move forward on socialite folks to come on to the board at this busy summer time.
RFP for Website (in conjunction with rebranding) Update - The discussion is to update and rebrand. Not replicating the VisitJuneLake Loop. Dan is currently working on this project as time allows. Working on just trying to get info to visitors that are contacting us. Revisit in the fall. Not going to put out a RFA (request for proposal). Amanda- There is away to modify the current website. But it doesn’t need to be rushed. Ralph- There are plenty of meat and potatoes, under a new web skin.
Request from Antelope Valley Desert Divers   - need to send out a request for donations? Scavenger- Double Eagle would like to donate. Amanda -”Donations” giveaway on social media that was started by Mitch. Amanda is following through with those contests. JL marina, Sierra Wave, others? (amanda) different sectors for the contest.  Sierra wave saw an increa of likes from 83-400+ Double Eagle is in. Live video at Sierra Wave had over 700 comments!

8. New Business:
CEMF Grant - Consider requesting a revised use of funds ($2700 available). JamFest is able to use the funds for other things instead of just outside of the area marketing. Can the Chamber have flex ability with our grant. What could we use it for...Prizes for the online contest? Videos of trail? Productions. Hirer John to manage the video contest. Use the money to pay him. Get all the rights to the video in order to enter and use the footage for advertising. Off the agenda, until the Leaves in the Loop Committee. Janet to Bob- Maybe this grant money can go to the county chambers s.
Bylaws Review and Revisions - (in meeting folder) Janet has begun working meeting folder- new by law with odd board member ⅔ we’ve been operating as a majority. When it’s supposed to be something else. cReate a new copy and make your own comments and revisions.

9. Items from the Floor:
Ralph to Gardner- let's look at the Balanced Rock for making it a special area in the loop. Possibly late summer, Tuesdays are out. John would like to help when meeting is set.
Jamie- Restrooms.
Bob- restrooms are in the park. They are already paying for restrooms at different trail heads. Including more at June Lake Beach and June Lake Dog Beach. They cannot help all areas. NEED RECORDING -BOB’s response to cleaning schedule. Bob- Poop task force. We have a poop problem. Matt durellow- supplement a contact with the county. Abi to call Bob and get the info on poop stations. Shovels with our logo on them...
