June Lake Loop Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting Agenda
Date: April 10, 2019

1.   Call to Order: 6:05PM

2.   Members Present: Abby with June Lake Marina, Jenny McMullen, Mitch McMullen, Dan Roberts, John DeCoster, Janet Hunt, Joseph Bogorad, Jamie Schectman, Ralph Lockhart and Lia Webb with the High Sierra Energy Foundation.

3.   Approval of March Minutes: John motioned to approve, Jamie seconded. Unanimous approval.

4.   Treasurer’s report:

5.   Committee Reports:    
Marketing
-Jamie gave update. Main goal of marketing committee is to drive traffic to the June Lake Loop. Radio jingle is recorded with “donut hole” for upcoming events. Working on marketing spend. Working on 395 signage. Press release advertising the “June Lake Renaissance” has been written. Mono County tourism also wrote a press release. Jamie working with Jeff Simpson at Mono County to merge and send a consolidated version to press contacts. There is an opportunity to include coupons in June Lake Triathlon bag for all chamber businesses. More to come on that topic.
Membership
-Lindsey will head up membership committee.
Events
-Leaves in the Loop - Jamie gave an update on the 10/18-10/20 event. Lindsey getting logo designed.
-Fishing Summit - Mitch working on it. Abby open to hosting a mixer.

-Dan is updating our website and it is looking great

7.   New Business:
Eastern Sierra Green Business Program
-Lia Webb, Coordinator, High Sierra Energy Foundation - Gave a presentation on green business certification. For those interested in learning more, you can visit greenbusinessca.org and even enroll online.
June Lake Weather Station
-Tabled at Abigail’s request
June Mountain Retail Store in Rainbow Ridge
-Projected opening 4/25/19
ESTA Summer Shuttle in the Loop
-Per CAC meeting, it's not likely that this will continue due to lack of ridership.  
Update on Visit June Lake
-Sarah tabled until next meeting   

8.   Items from the Floor:
-Some Chamber Board members met with June Mountain regarding the 4/7/19 closing of June Mountain. An update was already sent to Chamber members.
