MINUTES
The June Lake Loop Chamber of Commerce (JLLCOC) monthly meeting was held Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 10:25AM at the June Mountain Ski Area Chalet Conference Room, June Lake, CA.

Certify Quorum/Call to Order/Approve Agenda: The meeting was called to order at 10:25AM by Chamber President Dan Roberts. A sufficient number of board members were present to certify a quorum.
Approval of Minutes: None available for January, the minutes of the December meeting were reviewed. A motion was made by Cheri Bromberger to approve the minutes without correction. The motion was approved by Sheila Bell Thompson and seconded by Ralph Lockhart and passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report: Cheri Bromberger reporting:
Beginning Balance $3,222.66
Deposits $18,109.18
Payments ($12,382.71)
Ending Balance $8,949.13
The Labor Day fishing contest produced an income of $4,000.00, expenses in the amount of $7,685.00, showing a net loss of ($3,685.00). The Autumn Beer Festival produced an income of $15,369.80, expenses in the amount of $11,999.84, showing a profit of $3,869.96. The Winter Festival has produced receipts in the amount of $1,890.00. A preliminary budget for the Chamber for 2015 was produced to be discussed at a later meeting.
June Lake 395 Monument Signage: Carl Williams reporting: A resolution of support on behalf of the JLLCOC was produced for review and approval by the members. The resolution was reviewed and the following amendments were proposed: “The Board of Directors may form a sub-committee for the sole purpose of undertaking the project, including Community Involvement, Design, Permitting, Fund Raising and Construction, and such sub-committee will report to Board on a regular basis of its activities” changed to read “The Board of Directors hereby appoints the signage committee to undertake the project, including Community Involvement, Design, Permitting, Fund Raising and Construction, and the signage committee will report to Board on a regular basis of its activities”. A motion was made by Jessalyn McCoy to accept the amended resolution, seconded by Ralph Lockhart and passed unanimously. A discussion followed including input from Mono County representatives who offered their assistance with the project.
Events Committee: Sheila Bell Thompson reporting:

June Lake Winter Festival: a budget was produced; a flyer for the event was distributed describing the details of the event which will take place on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Gull Lake Park at 11:00am.

Fred Hall Show Attendance: a budget was produced with a request from the Chamber of $650.00 for expenses. Sheila Bell Thompson will represent June Lake with a booth at the event, which will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, CA, March 4-8.
Internet/Social Media stats: Dan Roberts reporting: Dan Roberts reviewed the monthly web statistics and Facebook trends. He reported that the June Lake Facebook page is close to reaching 10,000 likes. The web page calendar requires updating to include events, a list of events was taken to be added to the site.
New Ideas and Items from the Floor: Dan Roberts reporting: It was reported that former resident Lynn Kasper is currently working for Sierra Wave Media and has offered to assist with advertising for events. It was verified by Sheila Bell Thompson that advertising through this outlet does not qualify for reimbursement under the County program.
