United Airlines offers flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Mammoth Lakes (MMH) year-round,, so you can be in the mountains in just about an hour.  Other flights are also available from Denver, San Francisco, Burbank, and Orange County during the winter season.  The 'Mammoth-Yosemite Airport' is about 20 miles south of the June Lake Loop, so you will need to arrange transportation via rental car or taxi service from the  Mammoth Lakes area.

Yosemite Area Regional Transit (YARTS)

The Yosemite Area Regional Transit System stops at June Lake Junction, along its route between Mammoth Lakes and  Tuolumne Meadows/Yosemite Valley, over Tioga Pass during the Summer Months.  This is an excellent option for a Day Trip into Yosemite.  The YARTS also extends west beyond Yosemite into Central California and will connect with Greyhound, Amtrak, other regional transit routes and Major Airports.


Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA)

The 'Reno-Lone Pine' 395 route serves the June Lake Junction Monday through Friday, traveling US Highway 395 North to Reno or South to Lone Pine.  You must call 24 hours  ahead to ask this to Stop at June Lake Junction.  In Reno you can connect with Amtrak, Greyhound, or the Reno Airport.

ESTA also operates seasonally, a Winter-only Transit Route between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake.
